    Two significant reports—Climate Change Responses for Mountain Tourism and World Famous Tourism Mountains—Certification Standards—were unveiled. The event also recognized the inaugural list of 14 "World Famous Tourism Mountains," while enhanced regional connectivity was achieved through the "Colorful Guizhou" tourist train and new direct flights to Southeast Asia.

    Focus centered on how international bodies can coordinate travel policies to revitalize tourism post-pandemic. The newly established "Mountain Hot Spring Wellness Committee" aims to promote sustainable hot spring tourism development. Eight new member institutions were admitted.

    Milestones included strategic agreements with seven global tourism organizations and the establishment of Expert and Investment & Financing Committees. The inaugural "IMTA Mountain Tourism Awards" were presented across five categories. Side events like the "Dialogue among World Famous Mountains" and the "8900 Ideation Forum" encouraged cross-sector dialogue.

    TheIMTA formed its Expert Committee and released preliminary findings of the World Mountain Tourism Development Trends Report. A dedicated "Belt and Road Mountain Tourism Exchange and Cooperation Matchmaking Session" facilitated industry networking.
