Shao Qiwei, was born in 1953. He held posts such as Assistant Governor and Vice Governor of the People's Government of Yunnan Province, Chairman of the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) and President of the China Tourism Association; is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, Honorary Presi-dent of the Association for Tourism Exchange across the Taiwan Straits and a part- time professor at Nankai University.

Former Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group, former Director of the Guizhou Provincial Tourism Bureau and Chairman of Guizhou Tourism Association.
