Nominated by Guizhou Shiqian Hot Spring Investment & Development Co., Ltd., this landmark project combines "hot springs + high-altitude experiences" to set a benchmark for alpine thermal wellness. Shiqian Ancient Hot Spring, located at the foot of Songming Mountain south of Shiqian County, Tongren City, Guizhou, has a 400-year history and is one of China’s oldest hot springs. Connected to Shiqian Xianren Street Scenic Area (15 kilometers away) via a 5.1-kilometer aerial cableway, visitors can enjoy bird’s-eye views of rolling green mountains and cloud-top vistas.

As a multi-mineral composite hot spring, Shiqian Ancient Hot Spring maintains a constant temperature of 45°C year-round, with colorless, odorless water containing over 20 beneficial minerals and trace elements. Rarely found globally, it is suitable for both bathing and direct drinking. The ancient hot spring scenic area features over 100 pools divided into public areas, VIP zones, and water parks, catering to diverse visitor needs. Xianren Street Scenic Area, located atop Zhongling Mountain at 1,300 meters above sea level, offers thrilling attractions like the world’s longest boat-shaped glass corridor ("Immortals Sailing Out to Sea"), high-altitude tube slides, and cliff-edge walking paths, as well as natural landscapes including grasslands and flower seas. The mountain top is a sacred site for prayer, where visitors can hang prayer tablets and tie red ribbons.

Deeply practicing the "hot spring +" integrated development model, the scenic area offers diversified products such as "hot spring + wellness," "hot spring + ICH," "hot spring + food," and "hot spring + red tourism." Regular folk experiences include Dragon Boat Festival activities like sachet gifting, zongzi-making competitions, and egg painting. Over 100 restaurants in the cultural tourism street serve local delicacies. Rated as one of Guizhou’s first batch of "Golden Soup Class Hot Spring Resorts" in 2022 and "Top Ten Premium Tourist Attractions in Wuling Mountain" in 2023, it has launched the "Landscape Spring City" premium tourism route in collaboration with famous attractions like Fanjing Mountain and Zhenyuan Ancient Town. The Shiqian Hot Spring Group was approved as a "National Scenic Area" by the State Council in 2009, and awarded the titles of "China’s Hot Spring Town" and "China’s Mineral Water Town" the same year. In 2023, the combined scenic area was recognized as an "IMTA International Alpine Hot Spring Wellness Tourism Pilot Demonstration Site."
