The 2nd Bangkok Chinese Character Art Festival opened on September 1 at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Co-hosted by Huzhou Shanlian Chinese Character Art Research Institute (China) and the Thai Young Chinese Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association in Thailand, the festival ran through September 5 under the theme "The Artistic Realm of Chinese Characters: The Beauty of Thai Serenity".
Thai Young Chinese Chamber of Commerce President Li Jiachun stated that promoting Chinese culture globally is a long-term endeavor of great value. The original intention of the festival was to bring the finest aspects of Chinese culture to Thai society, providing more opportunities for local youth to learn Chinese characters and engage with the arts.
The festival featured Chinese character art exhibitions, cultural exchange activities, and youth aesthetic education programs, showcasing over 60 works by Chinese and Thai artists that blended traditional brushwork with Thai artistic styles. During the event, the "China-Thailand International Artist Residency Program" and the "China-Thailand Youth Chinese Character Culture Camp" were also launched.
