The upgraded Trip.Planner is highly convenient—users only need to answer three simple questions regarding destination, trip duration, and travel style preferences, and the AI generates a complete itinerary within tens of seconds. It not only automatically arranges the order of daily attractions but also takes into account operating hours, transportation, and recommended visit durations, clearly presenting the route on an interactive map. The feature also integrates flight, train, accommodation, and attraction information from the Trip.com platform, providing real-time pricing and availability, allowing users to make bookings while browsing their itineraries. According to Trip.com data, the order volume assisted by the AI assistant TripGenie has grown by approximately 400% year-on-year, with Hong Kong becoming the global market with the highest usage rate.
