On August 10, the organizing committee of the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) held a media briefing. It was introduced at the meeting that the 2026 CIFTIS will be held from September 9 to 13 at the Shougang Park in Beijing, during which more than 70 supporting cultural and tourism activities will be organized. 

During the CIFTIS, relevant organizations will host over 190 forum meetings and negotiation and promotion events, including 16 thematic forums such as the 2026 World Tourism Cooperation and Development Conference. Plans include the release of the China Service Trade Development Report 2025 and the World Tourism Cities Development Report (2025–2026). 

This year's CIFTIS will feature more than 70 supporting activities, covering a variety of types including consumer markets, cultural performances, sporting events, interactive experiences, and science and technology exhibitions. The venues for these activities will extend to multiple districts across Beijing, achieving city-wide coordination.
