In 2025, China became the second largest source of inbound tourists for Belarus, with the number of Chinese visitors increasing by 151 percent year-on-year. This growth was supported by the implementation of a mutual visa-free agreement between the two countries, as well as the launch of multiple direct flight routes connecting Minsk with Beijing, Xi'an, Sanya, and Urumqi. More fundamentally, it stems from the genuine willingness of both peoples to deepen mutual understanding and engagement. Belarus has expressed its readiness to seek potential partners from China to jointly implement new tourism infrastructure projects, including hotels, sanatoriums, and tourist complexes.
