This year's Mother's Day fell on just a single day due to the May Day holiday schedule adjustment. However, favorable prices for flights and hotels during the off-peak travel window following the May Day holiday have effectively stimulated post-holiday travel demand.

Several scenic spots in Jiangsu, Henan, Sichuan, Shanxi, Hubei, Guangdong, and other provinces have launched promotions such as free admission or half-price tickets specifically for women or mothers, further fueling the Mother's Day travel boom.

This year's Mother's Day travel market continues to show a strong "women-led" characteristic. According to the latest booking data from Tuniu, female travelers accounted for nearly 65% of all travelers during the Mother's Day period. In terms of source cities, female travelers from Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenyang, Tianjin, Chongqing, Hangzhou, and other cities showed the most active travel intent, ranking these cities as the top source markets for Tuniu's Mother's Day travel consumption.
