During the May Day holiday, the Lize Financial Business District near Dongguantou Station on Beijing Subway Line 14 was bustling with visitors. "I heard the Beijing International Flower Exhibition had opened, so I特意 brought my parents and kids to check it out. It's super convenient to get here directly by subway," said Ms. Wang, a local resident. In her view, the flower exhibition is not just about seeing flowers but also a great place for family leisure, taking kids out, and getting close to nature. Since its opening on April 28, the 2026 Beijing International Flower Exhibition has attracted numerous residents and tourists to come and enjoy the blooms.
Under the theme "Blooming Without Boundaries," the exhibition covers an area of over 120,000 square meters, featuring more than 60 exquisite gardens and over 30 cross-industry events. It has energized Beijing's spring cultural and tourism market, sparking public enthusiasm for cultural and leisure travel. The exhibition will run until May 30, covering the May Day holiday and the romantic May 20th occasion. With its citywide布局, multiple venues, and diverse business formats, the flower event is fostering new scenarios and new business models for cultural and tourism integration in the capital.
