f Changbai Mountain is Jilin's sturdy backbone, then Songhua Lake is its tender gaze.

Located in Fengman District, Jilin City, Songhua Lake is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The lake is dotted with over a hundred islands, among which Wuhu Island is particularly famous. Covering an area of approximately 0.5 square kilometers, it is divided into East and West Islands, connected by a bridge in between.

On Wuhu Island stands the largest comprehensive theme amusement park in Jilin Province, completed in 2014. It comprises two major areas: an onshore amusement park and a water park. In summer, attractions include water slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers. To visit the island, you need to purchase both boat tickets and admission tickets. A recommended visit duration is 0.5 to 1 day.

If you stay by the lake overnight, be sure to step out and gaze at the starry sky. Far from urban light pollution, the Milky Way is clearly visible above Songhua Lake.
