As Mr. Fu Yingchun, Vice Chairman, Executive Secretary-General, and Legal Representative of the International Mountain Tourism Alliance (IMTA), has stepped down due to reaching the age limit during his term, the 5th Plenary Session of the 2nd IMTA Council Meeting on July 9, 2025 approved the supplementary appointment of Mr. Ao Kemo as Vice Chairman, Executive Secretary-General, and Legal Representative of IMTA, and Mr. Liu Zhaohui as Vice Chairman of IMTA. Following review by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism (IMTA’s competent authority) and registration with the Ministry of Civil Affairs (IMTA’s registration authority), IMTA’s mid-term supplementary appointment of 2nd leadership team was completed on August 15.
At the IMTA council meeting, Mr. He Yafei, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of IMTA, noted that as the IMTA’s visibility and influence continue to rise, it has gained wide recognition and strong affirmation within the international mountain tourism sector, establishing a solid reputation. He emphasized that building a leadership team with a sound structure, exceptional capabilities, broad vision, pioneering spirit, unity in collaboration, and trust from its members is vital to realizing the IMTA’s vision of becoming a world-renowned platform for mountain tourism and a model international organization.

He previously served as President of Xingyi Minzu Normal University, and Deputy Director of the School Management Committee of Guizhou Normal University.
