Recently, the 2025–2026 Liupanshui Ski Season commenced at Meihua Mountain International Ski Resort in Liupanshui, Guizhou. Centered around the “Snow and Ice Plus” concept, this season integrates diverse sectors including sports, education, cultural tourism, and folk customs. Through comprehensive upgrades to activities, services, and facilities, it promises a winter-long snow and ice extravaganza, further enhancing Guizhou's reputation as the “Southern Snow and Ice Destination.”
Long known as China's “Cool Capital,” Liupanshui has shattered the traditional notion that “southern China lacks snow and ice.” This year, the city presents a newly upgraded landscape, establishing a development pattern of “one district, one specialty, and coordinated citywide engagement.” Zhongshan District showcases its Dream Snow Village, Shuicheng District features its “Blending Ice and Fire,” Liuzhi Special Zone offers warm winter wellness experiences, and Panzhou City hosts cultural feasts. Each district and city leverages its unique resources to paint a winter tourism panorama that harmoniously blends dynamic activities with tranquil experiences, weaving together the cool and the warm.
