Perisher ski resort in the Australian Snowy Mountains woke up to 10cm of fresh snow on Tuesday morning - and there's even more on the way.
Colder conditions are expected over the coming days, with forecasters predicting strong and gusty winds in south-east snowy mountains.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, damaging winds of up to 110km/h are expected to strengthen in the Alpine region with some possibility of blizzards.
