To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal, the "Himalaya Rim Exchange Conference" hosted by the Nepal Tourism Board was recently held in Kathmandu, Nepal. The event brought together representatives from embassies, the mountaineering communities of China and Nepal, as well as experts in the fields of culture and tourism, to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in mountaineering, cultural exchange, and tourism development, with the aim of promoting sustainable prosperity in the "Himalaya Rim" region. The holding of this conference not only provided a platform for deeper cooperation between China and Nepal in the fields of mountaineering and culture and tourism but also injected new momentum into efforts to protect the ecosystem and promote harmonious coexistence in the Himalaya region.
