In order to comprehensively enhance the cultural and tourism brand image of the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and further increase its recognition and appeal both nationally and internationally, Ganzi Culture and Tourism officially launched the “Ganzi Culture and Tourism Mascot IP Collection Campaign” on September 16. The campaign will continue until December 8, 2025, and open submissions from the entire society for creative ideas, with the goal of creating a cultural and tourism symbol for Ganzi that is widely influential and representative. A relevant official from the Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism Bureau of the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture stated: “We hope that through this collection process, we can bring together the wisdom of creative talents from across the country to create the most touching and unique cultural symbols for Ganzi. This will help more people to pay attention to Ganzi, understand it, and visit it. The snow leopard and the marmot are not only representatives of the creatures that live on the plateau but also embody the concept of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. We also look forward to using this opportunity to promote the digitalization and industrialization of Ganzi’s cultural and tourism IP, thereby further enhancing its international recognition and influence.”
