Since September 26th, air tickets from China to Thailand have been almost completely sold out, with occupancy rates on various flights reaching 99% – three times the usual level. All of this is thanks to the National Day holiday. Today marks the fifth day of China’s National Day holiday, and the number of Chinese tourists entering Thailand each day has already exceeded 20,000, with this figure showing a continuing upward trend. The Secretary-General of the Thai Travel Agencies Association (ATTA) believes that if Thailand can provide tourists with even more convenient services on top of what is currently available, then China could once again become a long-term driving force for Thailand’s tourism industry.
