In order to further deepen the cultural exchanges between Huzhou and Japan, as well as cooperation in cultural tourism, economy and trade, the opening ceremony of "Seeing Beautiful China in Huzhou" City (Japan) and "Huzhou Impression" photo exhibition co-sponsored by Huzhou Municipal People's Government and Tokyo Chinese Cultural Center was held at the China Cultural Center in Tokyo on the afternoon of the 27th. Mr. Wu Jianghao, Ambassador of China to Japan, Mr. Yasuo Fukuda, former Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Chen Hao, Secretary of Huzhou Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Luo Yuquan, Director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Tokyo, Mr. Feng Xuemin, creator of "Huzhou Impression" Photography Exhibition and Vice President of the International Union of Chinese Photography. The event was attended by more than 100 people, including Japanese friends from all walks of life, representatives of Shimada City, the sister city of Huzhou, overseas Chinese and students in Huzhou, Japanese travel agents, representatives of the news media, and officials of relevant organizations in Huzhou.

At the event, the participating leaders cut the ribbon for the "Huzhou Impression" photography exhibition and visited the photography works. This photo exhibition showcases 54 works created by Feng Xuemin during his three trips to Huzhou, using vivid light and shadow art to display the natural scenery, history, culture and folk customs of Huzhou poetry and painting from multiple perspectives, providing an important carrier for the Japanese people and overseas Chinese in Japan to understand Huzhou in an all-round way. The work uses the hanging shaft made of satin and silk from Huzhou, the hometown of silk, in an attempt to express cultural Huzhou with new visual art.

Feng Xuemin said: "I visited Huzhou three times before and after the COVID-19 pandemic, and took pictures of the hometown of tea, the hometown of silk, and the hometown of lake brush. Huzhou Chufeng has been strongly supported by the local government and the Japanese Huzhou Association, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you all! Through this activity, I hope you can learn more about Huzhou, like Huzhou, and jointly promote the folk culture exchanges between China and Japan."

The event was successfully concluded on July 4, and many Japanese and Chinese visitors came to visit the exhibition every day.
